    I thought the IDE connectors would be also but was informed they we're not. I figured if they attached to boards and drives they should be gold connectors. I am waiting for clarification from one of the buyers here.

    Isn't cable #9 in the other thread an IDE?

    My mistake I was talking about the plugs on the ends of the power supply wire. yes #9 is an ide connector.
