Does anyone know a phone # for BoardSort?

I am trying to reach BoardSort to ask them some questions about a load I want to send them. In the past they were responding to my emails fairly quickly but lately it's gotten a lot slower. I sometimes have to wait for more than a week to get a response. So looking for a phone number to call them. Thx

The buyers on this forum generally pay better. Check out the buyers section on the home page.

I'm trying to clear some space in the basement for an upcoming visit of out of state family members so I really want to unload this batch quickly. It's already in boxes. I would consider selling to someone else, and might do so in future. But I am afraid if I go to a different buyer now, who I have never worked with before, I will have to spend a lot of time figuring out if I need to reprocess my scrap before shipping (like removing additional metal from motherboards). But I might be wrong...

Well you can hurry up and wait for a response from Boardsort...or you can have it out the door today and be paid by the end of next week by a buyer from the forum that has proven feedback. Don't over think it.

I agree with KZBell and AuburnEwaste our members buyers have been here for a long time. If you take a couple minutes you can read the posted prices and read reviews from many who have used these guys. I personally use Ewasted and he is located in the same area as Boardsort so the shipping should not be a big surprise. He also will assist in arranging for shipping. He has gone a long way to help me with getting my shipping cost down. Best of luck, Mike.

I think it is also worth mentioning that Ewasted is only a few miles (5.86 to be exact) from boardsort. He responds virtually instantly and has literally hundreds of positive reviews. I am sending him my first load, about 2500lbs today!

I contacted boardsort before I found this forum and after their first email response they never responded to any of my other ones.

I actually found the email I received from Boardsort.com, this is an exact copy.

You have a very nice collection of boards there. You should consider loading up a Uhaul and bring them in to us. Our public drop off day is every Wednesday, you just need to set an approx time with us. That will save you a bunch on shipping.

You have a fair amount of High Grade Telecom and I also see Large Socket Motherboards and Fingercards as well. There may even be some boards in there that are worth more than Telecom. I am confident that it would be well worth your trip to come out. If you separate the obvious stuff out ( motherboards, the Fingercards, the Backplanes and then I can help you with the non-standard stuff which will more than likely end up as Telecom (unless there are things that I am not seeing in the pictures).

Since you have so much, and if you bring it to us in person, I may be able to give you a slightly higher base rate on your standard items than what we have posted, and as I said, I will be able to tell you if you have some higher grade items that are not listed on our price list.

He was polite and professional and I liked that he offered me a "higher base rate" but the interesting thing is when I inquired for more information, i.e. freight, categorizing certain boards, etc... I never received a response. I have never heard a complaint from anyone about boardsort before, they are legit. However, I decided to use Ewasted myself due to his quick response time, assistance, pricing, and VERY largely because of the sheer amount of positive reviews and the non-existence of negative ones.

Boardsort IS legit, he just runs at least two businesses, boardsort being in second place, hence the "wednesdays only"

He very well likely would have been in a better position now had he chose to join the forum here, and made a presence of some sort

Interestingly, I just got an email from Chris @ Boardsort. He told me that he's swamped with emails and that's why it takes him forever to respond. He's definitely legit, polite etc, they just do not seem to handle large volumes of email traffic well.

he knows a lot more about internet traffic than you realize. As i said before, his boardsort endeavor is second place, or third, or fourth etc., and likely has this thread marked by now, in order to silently receive email notifications for any new posts made on it
