There is money in CRT Tubes and if you pay 1.50-2.00 there is room for profit. I get almost 0.10 per pound for leaded glass tubes 0.05 per pound for the plastic case 0.28 per pound for the boards no to mention copper degaussing wire, copper yokes and other non-ferrous and ferrous material (steel liners and case sometimes is aluminum as well).
I pay 0.01 per pound all day long for mixed lots of tv/monitors, 0.02 for loads strictly CRT Monitors w/o wire and 0.03 per pound w/ wire delivered to me
