Looks like it brings a nice price per pound in completed auctions on e-bay.

Along the lines of $5 an ounce it looks like.

How is it packaged? Is it in small containers or giant tubs?
Well 800lbs would be tough to sell on ebay, basically, this is left over, meaning they used part of it, and end of day they put a new one in the machine the next day.. So basically not full containers, I've pictures of it, if You would like.
they are basically in 1 pound containers. if You send Me your email thru Pm I'll send You a pic or two. thanks.
Also Picked Up about 400lbs of Blank Memory Boards, and trimming, is about 900lbs.
Had a Awesome Day yesterday.. I tried to upload, but no way to upload only thru URL, I've no
browse option to upload My pics.. Getting frustrated. wanted to show off My Mother Load.

1lb should be small enough for people to be interested on Ebay. My old supplier used to buy bulk and a big handful of empty 1 or 2 oz bottles and bulk load them with solder paste and heat sink compound for sale. An ounce or two goes a long way to most hobby repairmen.

I've read about melting down lead wheel weights to make jig heads for fishing hooks, maybe a fishing co. ???
I have used this stuff at a previous job. One it is "used" it is junkl this is why they do not reuse it. There is flux in it that drys out. The stuff you see on Ebay looks like it is new.
That said if you have in 1 lbs conters try one on ebay. People will buy anything
Plus there may be uses other than as solder paste.
Just because something contains tin or silver doesn't mean its worth refining for said amount of metal.
That is true, but the fact of matter is, he assume, You can't just assume, This lead free was for use in High End Memory and solid state drives. it contains quite a bit of silver, according to MSDS its has 2.5 percent of silver , 13.9 percent of Tin
I would start with contacting my ewaste buyer and see if he is interested or knows someone who might be. Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
Sorry I may of come across wrong. I ment it is not usable for solder paste anymore. Junk/scrap this is why they give it to you.
And why it is use becuase some companies require all there boards to be soldered with lead free solder.
What is in it well that depends on what mix of solder paste they have. I have seen lead free paste that is 100% tin and some a mix of just about anything.
Like I said I would try it a small part on Ebay and see. Plus call around and see.
