Just got a load of older large rackmount servers. These are some of the larger rackmount units that I have seen, much bigger than a 4U or 5U. Some of them weighed nearly a 100 lbs each.
I did a detailed breakdown on a few, just to see the exact scrap value per unit, how I did and FYI. I paid $25 each for 18 units, I did come out pretty good. Yesterday took the steel to the yard, from the 18 servers plus had a little more it was almost 1400 lbs!
