It would appear that the way you have it set up the BIN went away after a bid was placed..??

Added to my watch list. I've got a few of these things that are probably gonna go the eBay way.

I'm watching as well. Looks like you need to get your positive feedback score up some
May I suggest you take a picture of the other side to show the pins are still intact?

Is this your auction or just one you are watching?
With the last few feed back on this one I would not be bidding.

The feedback was 2 people who never paid for an item so i filed a non paying bidder claim and they gave negative feedback in return and I never followed up on it. One guy I emailed about not having the correct address and he sent me back an email in another language that didnt translate right so it took a week to get the right address. I didnt understand him and he didnt understand me.

I had a pic of the pins but every time I tried to upload it didn't work

Cant you post a reply to a negative feedback? Not sure it has been a while since I used ebay alot.
Easy answers is just to sell alot more stuff then it will not look like you screwed last to people.

Yeah...It only takes one person leaving a neg feedback to mess up your otherwise good reputation and about a year before it will go away. I sold a vintage Apple monitor to a guy a couple years ago that was well packed and insured for the full value. It was slow arriving as it shipped Parcel Post and he also claimed that it was damaged, although I never knew this for sure. I told him I was sorry that it had happened, but not to worry as it was insured, but he was the one that would have to file the claim with USPS. Instead, he left me neg feedback and brought my otherwise perfect score way down and it was a year before it finally went away.

    Good Luck with the auction...

Yes you can but like I said I never followed up. I stay pretty busy and things like that tend to slip my mind

And I have no clue what happened with the buy it now. I don't see why a bid would knock it off????

I have been nervous about the negative with the stuff I just started sell.
"Not Test" what ever (5 1/4 drives othe PC stuff) Then half the time I get questions if the parts work and if I tested them.
I post right in heading not test then I say it again under description. I think some people can not read!

If they cant read that is there problem. When you put not tested on the listing it is sold as is working or not. Also if you have free shipping they cant give neg feedback for shipping. Ebay is pretty good with resolving feedback so if you have a problem contact them.

Unless you have a reserve that is not met, BIN goes away when somebody places a bid.

Ebay can be funny with the categories. If you post it as "used" that means it is working and if it isn't working when they get it they can file a claim (even if you put broken or untested in the fine print). Some sellers use the "For parts or not working" because they havn't bothered to test it and will not warrenty it, but some of this stuff is perfectly working and people might email to ask if it is tested broken or just not tested at all. Most sellers use a template over and over again so the description might not be correct and a buyer might ask about it anyway. Heck how many times have you seen a picture that doesn't match up to the item description at all or something like Pentium motherboard made by AMD etc.

Here is a link for the descriptions under computers: eBay Seller Information Center: Selling Resources

with feedback like that i'd be looking to start again.
chances are you'll keep getting 'em as you have only sold 3 items and 2 were neg's.
2 in 3 deals gone bad is crazy, maybe 2 in 1000, but 3?
so yeah, your reputation as a seller is about as low as one can go, give it up kiddo.

Guess you cant count because it is way over 3 items. 22 to be exact. You reputation for information is useless so take it somewhere else.

And obviously you have never used ebay because people receive neg. feedback all the time due to people not reading the description or because a claim was filed against them. Good try tho

Why did the Buy It Now option disappear after the first bid?

Buy It Now gives you the chance to purchase an item immediately, before bidding begins. But you have to act fast. Once someone bids, the Buy It Now option disappears. The listing then proceeds as a regular auction-style listing, with the item going to the highest bidder.

Why did the Buy It Now option disappear after the first bid?

It's been about a year since I received a neutral rating and a year and a half from a negative so, NO it doesn't happen all the time if your honest and not trying to rip people off. Just my .02
