    Overpaying... pays.

A few days ago I was contacted by an individual who is in the business of building custom computers to buy his excess of out dated parts that he had pulled out of clients computers over the last month. He said he got a lot of parts on a pretty regular basis and he was needing to unload some of them. He sent me some pictures via email of what he had and asked for the price I would pay for them. Taking into consideration what he had and the fact that he was about 40 miles away, i made my offer of $40. He told me he was a bit strapped for cash and wondered if I could do $50 for the lot. I have had a good week and just got a check from CFCS and agreed to his price. I got out there and picked up the stuff and gave him a general explanation as to what I did with the stuff. He then became excited because he said an older gentelman that was a friend of his had a garage full of the stuff that he had been trying to sell locally for a long time because he was physically unable to breakdown and ship it him himself. He is going to give him my number and I should be hearing from him early this week. I was satisfied with this and thought the $50 was money well spent on my part. I went to leave and on my way out he stopped me and handed me two bags that he forgot to mention in the earlier emails. He thanked me again and I went on my way. In my truck I looked in the bags. Full of processors. This only proves that every now and then it pays to over pay!
