so, I have been looking roughly for the last 30 minutes to see what scrap aka non working laptops are going for, and for the majority, they pretty much all sell to sell for $25+ minutes a few who did not sell, and a few who sold for less than $25, but the average has definitely been $25, so to me that is pretty **** good, considering almost all of them also charged for shipping.
So the way I figured it, you could beat some competition by paying at least $5 to $10 per laptop, and either sell to local repair guys, or on craigslist and easily double your money or even more. I even saw a few that sold for $60+
However, my question is this. Most of the auctions listed the specs for the laptop in the title...I know how to get all of that information if I can turn on the pc, but if you cannot turn it on, then how can you know what the specs are.
Same thing with PC chips...most of you guys can look at a pc chip and say what type of processor, ghz etc it is. All I ever see on a few is a few sets of numbers.
