scrap opportunity in LA / west coast

So i got to talking with this guy on the phone today i am doing some business with. Turns out he has what sounds to be like a small warehouse full of escrap hes trying to move. Obviously its way out of my area / capabilities. I would like to pass it along for a referral fee/trade. If your interested send me a pm / email so i can make the deal happen. Pickup location is in Los Angeles, but i am sure hes willing to ship if the price is right. Hes sitting in a warehouse full of stuff he cant move. Im sure we can help him out with some of it.

heres a small list of some of what he has:
    1000 dss satellite receiver boxes
    7 pallets of crt's
shipping container of new cell phone cases
approx 3000 pounds of new lithium ion cell phone batteries
hard drive boards dont know how much
    motherboards dont know how much
    ram dont know how much
    cpus dont know how much
new cell phone home and car chargers 2000 pounds or so

I have no problem giving a finders fee on a large lead. But I guess that's just me

Let me re-word what I said. I have no problem with finders fees, etc but I would depend how much the fee is. IDK, never mind, been a long week.

10 computers that are to far away for me.....free lead thats what you get for being a member
Pallets of items? there has to be some kind of commission or something. its not a fine line, but there is a line somewhere between help and taking advantage.

I probably dont care. The last few big deals ive helped moved thru i havnt gotten anything out of it. I am getting tired of playing matchmaker for nothing. Either pay the referrals or miss out on the deal. Either way is fine with me. There are referral fees here just like real estate or any other industry. Theres alot of huge deals going on behind the scenes here that no one is talking about. You ask why? Well its because people dont want to give out info about there buyers and sellers. Theres alot of hush money moving behind the scenes. I dont think its out of line to openly ask for a referral or other compensation for brokering a deal that makes someone else thousands of dollars. You are certainly entitled to your opinion on referrals, but its just part of the business. Im not here to make friends, im here to make money and to help other make money. Friends are just a bonus.

Thats exactly it. This isnt a few computers. I am open to fair prices and negotiating terms and fees. I have done business with alot of members on this forum and have not had any experiences other than positive ones. Odds are very high that this deal will turn into a long term deal, and could possibly lead to other larger escrap sellers and suppliers

Ok, I apologize for saying anything about finders fees, and I'm not saying anything about it anymore. I didn't really think about the post before I commented on it, and that won't happen again. I'm going to shut up now.

I agree 100% with you on that!!

If someone (whether on here or not) is giving you a lead that helps you make a few hundred or even a few thousand dollars, be cool and pay them a commission for offering up the information.

I just had a member here turn me over to a BIG load just the other day. Currently working out the logistics to go and grab it all. Already informed the member, that it will all get torn down and once I get the funds from it all, we will meet up and settle.

Thats what its all about, helping each other make money. Id have no problem paying compensation to someone else if they found a deal close to me that they couldnt handle.
