. I tend to make less of these mistakes now though but the urge is still there.
It's amazing how we scrappers will take 30mins trying to squeeze $0.50 of copper out of something but not take a few minutes to check 'completed listings', lol. It's also hard to overcome the “listing-is-a-pain-in-the-a**” syndrome. But it's something you have to do if you're serious about maximizing profit.
Just this week I sold a switch and a fence charger on
eBay for $240. I had to constrain myself from grabbing the drill and going to town, for what? $5-$8 in scrap?
