Question on selling hard drives

So i have finally gotten through my last batch of ewaste and i have about 20 or so Seagate SCSI hard drives i plan on selling on Ebay. I have formatted all the drives, used disk wipe and tested with SeaTools from seagate. I am confident all the drives that passed the testing will work just fine. I have seen other people mention recording the serial numbers from the drives so the buyer dosent try to stick you with their old defective drive. Do you put the serial number in the ebay listing or just keep it in your own records?

If they're Seagate drives, and you did their extended test, you should have no worries on them atm, as that's their product, and the very test they require for warranty returns. From there you've still got shipping, receiving, and proper installation to consider/hope the best on, so for sure the marks and documentation are good to have just in case

If you use/rely on the marks, I'd recommend a crystal clear macro shot of it also

Another option is to use holographic security labels. They are not expensive. I attach them to ram, several to the seams of any device that can be opened such as hard drives, power supplies, disc drives, etc. I warranty any item I sell for 30 days. I include an instruction sheet with my shipment that simply states the terms and length of my warranty along with warnings that if any of the security labels are removed or tampered with, the warranty is null and void.
I also record all serial numbers.
