I've read many times "save the plastic!" "save the mylar sheets" "silver!" blah blah blah but I've never found anyone who will buy them. I did cash in a few of the circuit boards recently, in addition to the usual heat sinks and whatever copper I could scrounge from them. But personally I don't think they are very profitable for the amount of time it takes.
so really, I don't have any answers for you, just wanted to give the courtesy of a reply.
