I have answered this very question in more than one of those threads. But ill answer it again. I use icy dock drive bay docks for my SAS docks, startech docks for my ide and sata drives, and an old server for my hot swap scsi drives. I use media tools for my wiping software and hdtuner for my health diagnostic software. All in all I have around $600 invested in equipment and software I think was last count in testing and wiping of hard drives. I would love to buy one of those stand alone 4 bay testers but they are about $4000. Its on my want list as well as a memory tester at another $5000.
