This guy has started a kickstarter project that takes recycled plastic and turns it into material that 3D printers can use. Here is an article explaining it in more detail

I thought it was real interesting especially with the fact the guy is making a product that will fit on your desktop to make the plastic filaments that the printers use. SO if you have a small company that uses 3D printers you can start buying plastic from people to use to make your own filaments. Make make it where lots of people start buying recycled plastic of different types.
