    CRAP!!! I had a tower EXACTLY like that, I gave it a way to a guy right before I started escrapping. I remember it because it was so much larger of a case that I thought it might be a server or something (didn't know much back then). Oh well, you live and you learn...

    Dont beat yourself up. Ive scrapped several towers that looked just like that one that didnt have pros in them.

    Gateway reused tower cases back then for the Pentium line. The G6 series name lived at least until the P2/P3 era, but that time they had ditched the gold Gateway2000 emblem and went to just a green pained Gateway on the case. So basically anything that says Gateway2000 in gold lettering might have a decent chip inside.

    I would be interested in the case and guts but I assume shipping from Missouri to Ohio would be expensive as heck. A working Gateway ppro near some decent sized city would sell for a few bucks on ebay.

    I very Briefly considered resale when i saw how great condition it was in but the scrapper in me and the year long search for a pro got the best of me and i tore it apart. Interest in the MB and HDD?
