this one sold for parts ($39.95)
    Apple 20" iMac A1207 Intel C2D Logic Board 820 2031 A 661 4110 661 4296 Parts | eBay

guess you could put up as not tested and try to get $40+. too bad you can't test it. i wouldn't even know where to begin to attempt to test. perhaps someone else has better answers for you.

I always try to test laptops before I take them apart. Bought the universal adapter kit for like $30 on ebay great investment. But if you can get $40 for it in an AS-IS condition that's a lot more than scrap value. That's the route I would take myself.

Could you provide a link or keywords to find this adapter kit?

One of the main causes of failure in iMacs has always been overheating, even with the original CRT iMacs. When the logic boards fail, it is usually from capacitors overheating and breaking down. So even if you can't test your board, look closely at the caps for signs of leaking, bulging or both.
