    Cool CPU

Got these today out of a hp apollo 715/75 server. I did a rather large pickup at a residential house today and these where part of it. I filled the back of my nissan with misc tower. mostly pII and PIII some apple power pc's and three hp servers. I have to go back tomorrow to get the rest. He told me not everything goes. I didnt get to spend much time in the room where he was pulling all of this stuff from but i did see some rather large and very old look equipment. I cant wait to get back there tomorrow. Any one wanna tell me what these cpus are worth?

Was that a complete machine or just parts? Some of that stuff is worth more then scrap you know.

I know I'm really bad about just tearing stuff apart without checking resale value. It was complete. Guess I have gold fever.

I guess the urge to open up something different is exciting, but those same things are what make stuff collectable and more valuable then scrap. Actually the gold frenzy is just driving up prices for what is left of the vintage gear. Stuff that people could not give away a few years ago is getting pricey now since it was all recycled and new collectors are just starting to look for it.

The Second load was way better than the first. As soon as i can get my phone to send my pictures ill post them. I ended up with 8 more hp servers, several 486 and 386 towers, 10 brand new socket 5 motherboards with cpu, a bunch of loose fingercards, also 4 brand new 486 cpus and a couple 386's. Def my best load from a residential house. And def my best ceramic score. He had several big machines marked at&t that he didnt want to get rid of and a few sun servers he wanted to keep. THe best part of all of this is i didnt have to pay a dime! I offered him some money but he turned it down. I cant wait to start tearing into some of the tower that are already pretty rough. THere is several that may be collectable so im not gonna go too crazy.
