I don't think it really matters UNLESS you have quantity. If you have 20 pounds of ram and one buyer will give you .50 or 1.00 more a pound is 10- 20.00 really going to make or break you????
The same goes with metal. I've seen people drive MILES to a different yard to get and extra .05-.10 cents a pound for copper. If you have several hundred pounds it does add up. If you have 20 pounds, your spending more to get there than you are making.
I'd find a buyer that gives you a competitive price and send them as much as I could to save on shipping rather than try to squeeze out every last penny only to find out the your "extra" profit went to shipping.
I don't deal in large volumes of
ewaste. I'll keep saving up until I have 50-60 pounds and send Ewasted everything I have. He has always run a very professional operation and treated me like I'm sending him 500 pounds rather than 50. He's a class act, I have no problems, and I'm very comfortable sending him my ewaste. Quit chasing pennies.
