need to barrow my truck?
some times lots are a heart breaker, most here will remember I walked away from a 30 ft horse trailer full of 1980/90 vintage puters over $1 ea. a month or later we bought 2000 servers for .12 a lb and 6000 hard drives at .12. got them all at a net 30. day credit as they are delivered.
as more, less informed people, get into the "NEW GOLD RUSH" The competition will drive the buy price up, while the quality of recovery in newer computers will drive the sell price down. the above is a great example of that rhose servers will now sell on auctions for 4 times what we paid for them.
when I first got into this companies were paying me to take computers.
"anyone who thinks scrappin is easy money ain't doin it right!"
Well just got home with a truck load... all said and done.
13 laptops
3 Apple IMac something's
1 server
60 towers.
3 KVM s
2 LCD monitors
nice haul for sure. final price paid?
~You have to start somewhere to get anywhere~
Some times the best deal you make is no deal at all,800.00 is that u.s. curency?
Only the computers... he has somebody else that is getting CRT monitors... He has around 80-100 if anybody needs a few.
There are NO cords. The ones that were attached were cut. The others unplugged
you can send me the monitors lol ill take em
Yeah, I would have jumped all over that for 200.00. Good deal and have fun breaking everything down.
200 is a great price broken down to a per unit price you payed about what i pay when someone only has 3-5 in one spot. I might have gone up to 250 for that lot if i had to. maybe more if i liked what was in them
Here is what I ended up coming home with.. If I can get the pictures to show.
That would be a darn nice problem to have. Good job and a great price.
Might check with a couple of computer shops to see if they might want a couple of nice ones for shelf filler for about $20.-25 ea or so.
