im saving them also, i have about 50 ive accumulated of broken/intact lcds, i think there will be a buyer for this material at some point in the future

Indium, I found out about it a few weeks ago.

The recent changes in demand and supply have resulted in high and fluctuating prices of indium, which from 2006 to 2009 ranged from US$382/kg to US$918/kg.

Well im definitely not throwing any away if the material cost has gone up 900% in the last 7 years. Its just a matter of time till a bounty gets put on lcd's.
What is the recovery process like? Is it even feasible to recovery Indium from the screens? Still a big gamble to hold on to, considering all it takes is the manufactures figuring out how to make the screens without the Indium. I'd sell to anyone willing to buy at this point if it were me.

Interesting.....My local buyer quit taking them.....He said if I broke them down I could mix them in with computer cases.....Anyways I have a good amount of them if anyone interested in paying shipping....Mostly 17" Flat Screens but some bigger ones as well possibly worth repair....I have a 23" Apple but the power adaptor is over $100.....Also have some 20" and larger flat screens....I accept private messages if anyone interested (IF NOT I"LL JUST BREAK EM DOWN)
