Apple II's

Today's score for $10 but no large floppy disks and I can't figure out how to get the floppy drives hooked to the computers? The big IBM is locked with a key I'm not sure if I want to pry into it to see if there is a Pentium Pro inside(maybe a lil too old) or wait to make sure I'm not going to re-sell as is anyone know the answer?

I think the IBM has an Intel 386....That question is answered.

When I boot the apple on the left it comes up with the apple screen but without a "floppy" I can't do any other "tests" right?

those old keys are usually typical. You might ask someone who deals with older computers or has in the past, maybe even a PC shop, to see if they'll give you a spare

I think I remember being able to program in BASIC if I got a prompt on an apple II...don't remember correct syntax though.

10 print "hi"
20 goto 10

something like that prints hi into infinity...maybe try that to test one.

Is it an Apple II, II+ etc? Apple II's (just plain II's) are worth a BUNCH of money but are rare these days. The PS/2 tower would sell as is on ebay.

They are apple 2e and apple 2c unfortunately. The weird thing is I think the person I got these from may have an apple 2 because I ended up with an extra drive and also an extra power supply.

The IBM tower is a model 80 I'm going to grind down a barrel key today and see if it won't let me slip the lock.... I really hate ebay, but wouldn't mind this stuff going to someone who's going to keep it maybe someone will make me a reasonable offer on the lot of items over on the vintage forum.

Model 80's are nice machines, should sell on ebay. That external IBM 5.25" floppy drive is in demand too.

I got every single item up on ebay except the model 80 that thing is such a beast if everything else doesn't command a decent price on fleecingbay I'm going to take my frustration out by breaking the lock on the side breaking it down and chewing on the gold 386 chip!

If you gut the PS/2 Model 80 let me know if there are any cards in it (I collect any cards out of the ordinary, kind of an addiction). I have 3 model 80's loaded to the gills with rare cards, 486 CPU upgrades, and even IBM WORM drives (fun to play with).

There is a 16 pin serial port with a black switch on it I can see from the back dunno what it is?

I was able to slip the lock on the side. That card is a CH Products Game Card III circa 1988.

Was there a sound card there as well?
