    Voltage Regulator Modules from servers?

These came out of Dell poweredge servers and I was curious at to how they are priced. They have some pretty hefty gold fingers on them. Finger Card pricing?

I tore down a bunch of computers and servers recently but for some reason I have no clue what this came out of. Is it common to have a motherboard with gold fingers on it?

I see motherboards with gold fingers on them quite a bit coming out of older Dell clam shell type computers (optiplex desktops I think they are called). About half I get have them in them.

Quite a few old servers used to have 2 boards like that, one with the card slots and the other with the CPU and RAM. Looks like a socket 5 Pentium board with broken RAM slots.

I am cleaning the voltage regulator modules and mixing them in with the gold ram. Should get slot cpu rate for them at the least.

The desktop motherboards that have a finger on them i trim it off. The buyer dosent pay at a higher rate for it, so why give it away.
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE

That board is a lot older than Dell Clamshell cases, probably made around 90-95, being as it has only EDO RAM slots

I like the gold fingered motherboards since they also apply as a finger card for me

I'd also get paid finger card price for those even if they are "nice" that is how it works it all averages out.

OK let me give you my perspective on this as a buyer who posts prices openly on this forum. I would pay finger card prices for the first pic. The second pic I would pay large socket motherboard price with the gold fingers left on. I look at boards like that this way. The motherboard itself doesn't have the isa or pci slots that a usual motherboard has. Therefore leaving the gold fingers on makes up for that. Now if you were to cut that off I would probable down grade it to low grade telecom price just because it has alot of chips on the board. Again this is the way I would grade it and your buyer may be different.

that board has way to many large ics on it to be downgraded to anything lower than green motherboard, if a buyer pulled that on me id have a big problem with it
