I am running into alot of fan grilles on old power supplies that appear to have a gold color plating on them. Wondering if they are actually gold plated or if its a coating?

Use a pencil eraser and see if the plating will rub off after a few strokes.
We buy electronic scrap, Gold Karat scrap, gold filled, refined gold, silver and many other item's.
does not rub off with an pencil eraser
