    Staples and CRT's

I dropped off a few CRT monitors at Staples today. They told me they can not have the cords cut off and all parts need to be inside.
not an issue for me becuase I ussaly just drop them off on my way back from picks.

If your friend happens to be a store manager, they'll take carcasses from monitors and small TV's.

I had no idea Staples takes monitors. I've taken some to Goodwill since they put them back in the field for use, does Staples do the same then?

I'm wondering how long I will be able to drop off monitors that have the cords removed and the good stuff stripped out of the inside. So far I try to only drop a few by a week and spread them between the two Staples, one best buy and the two landfill drop off sites. We'll see, I can't be the only one doing it in my town.

Since I live in Minnesota and it is against the law to throw them in the dumpster I would guess that is not an option.
