late 80s/ early 90s equipment questions

Anyone have any luck with selling older ram that is 8mb or smaller? Or really any equipment from that era? I had a purchase recently of a lot of late 80s to early 90s parts (mobos, ram, cpus, video cards, etc.) and did some research but the resale prices are all over the place. Some things I can't find any info on at all (early 90s soltek mainboard "new" in box for example). Most of it is in original packaging with manuals. Oh and the best part was that I found my first Pentium Pro! But my real question i guess is: is it really worth trying to resale this stuff? Especially the ram?

i have good luck with most of the stuff you are talking about, you need to determine what cpu socket the motherboard has once you have that info they are easy to price and sell, socket 3, socket 5 and 8086 motherboards tend to do well
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE

Most are socket 3. I would say about 10 or so were out of 486 computers and a few that will take some more extensive research. I have googled model #s with no results. I have checked ebay and the forum and am having no luck. I guess I will have to keep digging. I hate to scrap anything in original packaging and with manuals. Seems there would be a better market for these. There were also some am486 boards and cpu combos that i have never seen before. Is this stuff too new to be worth anything to a vintage collector?

I'd bet they will sell on Ebay. Just list them at a decent price/or best offer for 30 days. I sold two 386 CPUs for 65.00 each after shipping, two 486 CPUs for 80 and 100. I even got 65.00 for a P166. This stuff is often a little slower to move, but it does move.

Have an inventory list? Anything socket 3 (486) will sell on ebay or VCF forum for more then scrap. Anything that old NIB will sell quickly.

I am having a tough time finding out any information on these boards. I have searched every part number I can find but cant really find anything useful. I must be doing something wrong because I refuse to believe these boards are that rare. Has anyone ever dealt with anything made by Soltek or SOYO?

Post the board model. Usually they are along the edge. For Soltek is should be something like SL-xxxxxxx, for SOYO it should by SY-xxxxx

Soltek are usually lower end boards. I'm not as familiar with SOYO.
