Need help again: Would you buy? AUDIO/VIDEO EQUIP.

So I got this on the line for $100, but the question is it worth it in scrap value? Note I can get paid breakage for this stuff at my local hard @ .15 - .22 a pound. Is there any gold in old audio gear like this? Here's the lot. Huge Lot of Sony/Panasonic/Leitch Analog Video Studio Pro Gear

I have broken down this type of equipment before...from a radio station, theater, etc. There is value in some of the boards, but every piece was different. Most I found though was gold plated eproms. Also, $100 is way too much for this for scrap. Maybe more like $15.

I would consider selling them separately on ebay. Check out if any of them are selling. It could be a good investment.

Not much value in that old analog equipment.....Some of that stuff has only low grade boards and transformers........Some of those pieces may be ebay worthy but they are not quick sellers.......I actually have some of that same equipment in a storage building right now........Why is it in storage?.........Because it aint worth **** (LOL)

So, browsing through ebay's listing for this stuff, it doesn't look like it's very sought after. You might eventually be able to sell everything for $300...how long that would take, who knows. My advice is just let it go. If you want to, you could tell him if he doesn't sell it, that you'd give him like $10-15 if he just wants to get rid of it all.

The seller knows that stuff has no value and that's why he is trying to dump it for 150.00. Do like Rawresale said and offer mybe even 20.00 if he doesn't sell it. You might get lucky and get the whole lot. Good luck.
