Looks like precious metals recovered a little bit today

Do you all think any of the large ewaste buyers or scrap companies use futures? I'm sure the big ones do but at what size would it make sense? I would imagine it would add good stability when your content with certain prices at certain times then you can create a hedge. I guess the draw back is it would be harder to raise your buying prices to be competitive if the price did go drastically up, but then you could do a strategy called a straddle... You could also be hedge and lower your prices since psychologically that is what should happen when the price of Metals or PM's goes down and make up the money you will need to maintain a good margin if the price goes above your hedge and you need to raise the buying price to be competitive. I don't have 100g to start using to hedge.
