    Smile My first real escrap load

    So I was out at some garage sales with one of my kids today and found a guy selling some Dell docks.



    I asked him if he had any old towers he didnt want. Turns out this guy runs a non profit and fixes computers for it. He had a tall 5 drawer file cabinet full of broken laptops. Broken towers in the house. Broken printers in the house. All sorts of goodies. I told him I was willing to pay 3 to 4 dollars apiece on the towers. I didn't get any towers today but i got 13 laptops, a netbook an older flatscreen monitor, a Dell dock and he gave my kid a little language learner PDA thing for 21 dollars.

    When I was leaving I thanked him and he said maybe we could get something going. I told him I would definitely be in touch.

    Yeah the only problem with that (ebay) is they are all pretty much dead.

    He fixes them and gives them away i believe.I got the ones that were too far gone.

    Some of them are almost all the way broke down and put into bags already. Makes my work a little bit easier.

    Even those will work. Just be sure to include in the listing, that they are for parts.

    I second that, ive sold alot of laptops on ebay, i have averaged more profit on them than the desktops ive processed.
