Not sure. I have about #40 of boards similar to that....that is one of the worst looking kinds. They came from telecom equipment. Very nice pins on the connectors, but so much solid state garbage on some of them.

I sent my wife some pics of some stuff I scored (packed up truck, etc) and she said "that is like porn to you, isn't it?".....I had to admit it was

Yeah he has lots of Tantalum caps. If you take them off let me know looks like you have quite a lot. Let me know if you need help identifying them. I have never found a board buyer to be unhappy with you removing things that they don't get paid on.

The really sweet ones came out of a video recorder unit from a broadcast television production studio. It also had about 8 of the strangest HDD's I have even seen.

I will try to get a photo up of the odd HDD's in a little bit.

I think it would be cool to have a sticky topic of board porn! I want to see other people's hot pickups too.

The past few weeks have been crazy amazing. I have been scrapping casually for a decade, and "semi-professionally" for a couple years. I have had droughts and floods, but right now I am sitting on enough material to pay a bill or two for at least a year if I weather it out that long.

    Probably won't

Wife wants clothes, kids need clothes, and daddy has his eye on some tools and a shotgun. Plus, mamma's license to carry a handgun should be in the mailbox any day now....and I am thinking about setting her up with a sexy Sig 938.....or maybe a Kimber Crimson Carry.

Little off topic but the gun people on the radio by me always say that husbands shouldn't pick out a gun for their wives. They advocate for them to go to a range that lets you try them out first and for them to choose the one they like.

    Hope your water holds out.

She likes the Kimber a lot already. She also likes the Ruger LC9. Problem is, most gun stores/ranges do not have a super wide variety of guns to try....usually just the standard glock/M&P/XD, some revolvers, maybe a 1911 style, and a few .22's.

I am not really concerned about getting a pistol that she decides she isn't a fan of....I am pretty active on a large Indiana firearms forum (INGunOwners - Indiana Gun Owners Community) and have never had any problem selling or trading guns. Might take a chance on the LC9, it fits her hand wonderfully but I have heard that the trigger sucks on it.

That's when I actually bother removing hard drive boards when they are big like that, there is probably more platters in that than a normal hard drive also.

    Satellite equipment?

Lots of gold plate on that board! Would like to see close up pics when you get them off the case.

Those CPU's look interesting also. Are they gold? I would be taking the heatgun to that, my friend.
