Due to lack of working batteries I have been unable to continue this venture beyond a standstill. I attempted to find one of the UPS that would still work but after keeping each plugged up over several days time they all failed to charge, so I decided to try using a regular 12V charger outside the unit. As was mentioned in an earlier post these batteries are much smaller than an auto battery, and could burn up or maybe explode if receiving the full brunt of an auto battery charger so I decided hooking several at a time would be best, and made a sort of "charge manifold" using some wires from a multiple battery insert. I sold what batteries were visibly damaged or warped, and kept the ones that still looked to be in tact, and am hoping that the increased punch from a 12V auto battery charger will get these things perking again, or at least enough of them to tinker with. I wanted to put 6 together but due to time let it be for now with 4. These are all hooked hot to hot, and gnd to gnd. (my "insert image" links aren't loading again so I can only post the photo links)
