    ebay escrap buyers

so i am checking thru my messages today an i see this one i am like wow did i make a mistake, then i checked and i see that he paid for the item yesterday

    where is my cpu?
i paid for it long time ago dude

    so i reply:
does less than 24 hrs count as a long time ago?

    his response:
do you treat all your customers this way?

    my reply:
    only the ones like you

so ill probably be getting some red feedback from this one, but it happens, not all people are decent human beings, just a heads up, there is a block buyer (black list) feature that was made because of people like this, use it

this guy is thinking he should have his item in his hands in less than 24hrs from when he paid for it, i am thinking whatever feedback he leaves i can get it pulled due to unreasonable demands
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE

Can you post the buyers name? I thought about starting a thread about this in the past, not sure how the admin feels about this though.

A blocked buyers list would be awesome. That way all ebay sellers could just block them.

you will like the revised offers feature then, now the item has to be paid for for the offer to go thru, accepted offers that are unpaid do not affect the sale of the item

The guy is obviously an @ss but you as the seller don't need to be one back.

You could have simply told him that the auction says that his item will be shipped in x days after receiving payment.

His second response was more than justified. This is the reason eBay 99% of the time sides with the seller.

Be the better part of humanity, no need to be a jerk.

you cant fix stupid not even with duct tape

feedback is a volume game, run enough volume and bad feedback dosnt matter, 1:100 is the same as 100:10000

I don't know a lot about scrap, but I know a lot about business and especially customer service. So that I do not offend anyone if you want to know how to really handle this and come out well let me know.
But I will say this...If you have a business you cannot afford to have an irate customer. You never know who they know or how it will effect you.
You can make money 2 ways.

I pay promptly on ebay. Most sellers seem to ship fairly quickly but this year I have had too many that never ship and never reply to emails 7-10 days after I paid and see they haven't marked the item as shipped. Kind of weird since I have been buying for 10 years with little problems.

There are quite a few mentally unstable people in this world and cheap computers and internet access seem to have them spilling over the ebay and craigslist lately

What? What does this have to do with anything?

Feed back score is a numbers game. Feedback is not. 100:10000 is much worse than 1:100. You have 99 more pissed off customers.

That's why I don't do near as many auctions anymore...Prefer the Buy it Now that requires Immediate Payment.

Maybe some ebayers are learning they are paying more that the items are worth.
We buy electronic scrap, Gold Karat scrap, gold filled, refined gold, silver and many other item's.
