A Small Haul, plus a random question.

So I picked up a couple more towers at work Friday as the old junk computer cleanup continues. Our resident instrumentation guy / computer wiz wanted to keep the old hard drives for backup on our old files, but I got the rest. My random question is this. I know about "cleaning" in a sense of cutting off gold fingers and how that's a no-no with RAM, but what about literal cleaning. As-in, our old servers were kept in the shop side with no side panel so they've collected years of dust from all of the welding, grinding, cutting, painting, etc. Is some dirt on the parts going to make a different in pricing at all?

    Thanks
    Al

I turned some in one time that had been in a flood, didn't clean them at all. Not going to add that much weight anyway.

I use an air line from a regular air compressor, works wonders on the inside of a computer. Experience will tell you soon enough that it's best done on the outside of the house/shop ; )
