Did a pretty in depth search and found nobody around here is buying computers. Lots of free pick up ads, but nobodys buying.
Im just starting with e waste. Have been reading, reading, reading, did i mention reading? Tons of info, learning alot and im pretty confident I can do well here offering to buy computers.
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Do you have the outlet for selling the boards and such?? Start low on the price paid then you can always go up if you have to,,,

remember fuel is not free. take this into account when quoting prices and setting up multiple pickups at once

An make sure you got a buyer. Most here seem to be in the States, an you being across the border may hamper you a little. Tho, I'll be the first to admit, I don't know much about how things work up there in far north. Other then you all say "Eh" a lot.

I see you are in Barrie, Ontario. I'm sure you were searching in all the wrong places, as there are several buyers in that area! I ship all my boards to EDI in Orillia, Ontario. There are also at least two other e-waste companies right in your back yard.

I meant like no "middle man" buyers. There are no ads on kijiji that i could find. Nor on any other sites iv searched. If there are i couldnt find any. Either way our area is big enough to supply all of us with material lol not to mention toronto is less than an hour away.I see you are in Barrie, Ontario. well if you get enough there is a company in orillia that only buys in bulk, skids full at a time.
and just for general e waste fill a shed full and drive sounth, were getting .075 cents to .09 a lb in port perry, pretty sure the guys in new market will be the same. check with that yard in concord.
but for whole computers i'll match the yards price. 5-7 a piece.

With a TV, for example, that includes the tube, plastic and everything. While it's not great, the only labor involved is loading and unloading the item. It's basically the same as a guy taking shred price for a washer. You miss out on the higher value items inside, but you save on your time.

Yards around me pay .05 cents per pound for e waste. Whether its stripped or not. Either they are uneducated or know theres value and are taking advantage.
While on the subject, Would anyone advise against offering to buy complete computers from the yard itself?
No calls on my ad to buy e waste either... Which im kinda surprised at seeing how mines the only one offering to pay in my area...?
