I had a drop off this morning of 12 laptops three were vista hp dv series .nice laptops. while checking on of them them lol it just turned on. and started beeping at me .so I installed a hdd and memory( lol they were for the scrap bins and apparently work lol) . when I turned it on the screen had vertical lines of different colors on a white background. so I hooked it up to a monitors and it seems to work fine lol. so I was playing with it and randomly the screen came to life and worked great. BUT as soon as I moved the laptop the screen started messing up ( kinda like playing with the vertical hold on old tube TV's) then went white agien . my questions is the screen its self looks fine .is ths caused by a loose cable? or a bad boards? any1 know if this is worth fixing its a hp dv9700 . I need a new laptop is why im wondering if its worth having it repaired
