    State-byState E-Waste laws

Since laws for E-waste vary State by State, especially considering CRTs, I thought this might be helpful: http://www.electronicsrecycling.org/...aspx?pageid=14

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

My guess is the fact there are state specific laws rather than a generally accepted federal guideline. Yes it would be far easier to have just one set of rules, same with getting licensed in real estate, insurance ect. Each state feels they need to cling to "states rights" in everything they do....in many cases they are right...but in many just have 1 set of rules makes far far more sense. But then again when is the last time any government really did things that MADE sense vs justifying their jobs?? Lol

Well this is not really a problem but yeah I meant about a set of rules rather than each state's rule

I'm new to this forum, but just wanted to say, PA passed the electronics in landfills ban in January of 2013.

Indiana did the same thing. Just no provision for getting rid of it.

    They don't pay me nuthin'.
I know they did send notices to the trash companies and scrap yards about the ewaste ban. That's where I picked up a customer and "help" them comply by hauling off their electronic scrap
