    Pile of mainframe cable ends

    Hey all!

I've got a couple cable ends and connectors laying around... everything from late 70's to current high end equipment. Is there a certain way you guys would sort this stuff out? I'm breaking them down little by little- but the plating quality greatly differs depending on which plug I'm doing.

    Thanks,

    Jamie[IMG][/IMG]

If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

I've already packed up a pile this size that's sitting in my shed, need to start doing something with these. They've gotta be worth something. Maybe a buyer on here will pipe in?

    Thanks,

    Jamie

They don't generally come out here looking for stuff Jamie, you'll probably need to go find one in the buyers threads

the plating may be different but you need to look at them on the whole.

While some might be a smidgen more than others, others will be less. Look at those huge plugs you have in the pile. Better gold plate? Probably. but look at their size compared to others. The weight alone of the extra plastic and copper inside negates any better plating you might have.

Just mix them all together and get one price. Dont waste your time sorting them. As they say don't step over a dollar for a dime.

Yea and right now connectors are selling for more than insulated #2 wire.

Are those great big connectors gold plated? Those are some great big connectors, but if they were just power connections, they might not even be gold.

You will have to check out the buyers section and decide for yourself.

Sorry Red but I think the Admin frown on cheer leading for a particular Buyer outside of their own Buyer's Thread.
