    switches???

    I am looking at these switches on a local auction are they worth anything?




    (4) Hewlett Packard 2626 J4900B Switches
    - Hewlett Packard 2824 Switch, 4 J4858B GBICs
    (3) Hewlett Packard 5406zl Switches
    - Factory Configurations, no power cords, J8705A and J4858C Modules
    Hewlett Packard 2600 POE Switch J8762A

    have you tried googling them on ebay ?

    They always have some value. I looked up the first one on ebay and they seem to sell from 25.00 - 50.00. The most recent was 3 of them for 39.00. I personally found that while Cisco sells well most others are slow sells. They will have some decent boards in them and the steel is heavy. I wouldn't want to be in them for more than 2.00 each so I had the option to scrap them if they don't sell. Always keep in mind that it a pain in the butt to sell and ship switches on the net.
