    Silver in Laserjets

Photo below, though blurry, shows at Left one of two connectors to be found in HP Laserjet 2300, solid silver not plate, weight for two is 2.3 grams. At right one of the two found in a Laserjet 1022, again NOT plated but solid silver, weight 2.1 grams for a pair. I'm all but positive (as it's not been proven ) that similar connectors will be found in most laserjets. As you're facing the front of the unit, at top right at the end of the roller there's two wires approx. 1.5 inches long, pull those puppies out and this is what you've got. Mechanic sorry about your burst bubble on the discs but when one door closes another opens! And this is a much heavier door!
