Therw are some estimates around the web I have found for chips but not boards...that would be extremely difficult to get a baseline I would think. I will see if I can find the chip info I found.

To the op, be careful with what you are linqing to from that other site. Some info there is copywrited by the authors and the members there are touchy about their info being put in other forums. You are already on thin ice on grf for double posting. You were told there to please read and study, show the same respect to this forum as you would show on the other. We are not as tough on newbies here but still ask that you try to read some old posts to find what you are looking for.

As for your question you will be hard pressed finding that info on motherboards as the people that have it have paid with alot of time, money and energy to get it and do not relenquish that info easily if at all.

Heh, ain't as tough on the newbies..now that's true!

Them folks don't hold back an I suggest ya got thick skin if your gonna go over an ask silly questions. ( not saying this one is silly, but in general for folks who aren't used to GRF.) As BC said, they've put a lot of work, time, an money into their research.

They are good folks, but they subscribe to the tough love method.
