    windows vista pasword bypass

I got a windows vista computer in a clean out and would like to use it to replace my current computer. I want to reformat it, and i believe 99% of the newer computers have a partition for reformatting instead of disks. Can I access this without a password, or does anyone use a free password bypass program? I dont want to use a free program without recommendation, and don't really want to buy a program I will most likely use once.

Just to be clear, I do not intend on accessing personal info on the drive and plan to wipe it as soon as I can.

Been using Lazesoft Recover My Password for over a year. Have salvaged many of a machine with it!

I received a pc from a customer last year that had several users and had passwords. Not sure if it's legal but I downloaded Ophcrack, created a bootable cd, started the computer and within a few minutes a screen appeared that showed all users and passwords.

If it has a license sticker on it, you could start from scratch with an install. There was a thread somewhere about doing that.

A legit copy of Vista and Windows 7 are available for FREE online.

downloads'n'fix: Microsoft Windows Vista Official .iso Download Links (Digital River)

    READ THE INFO

    Download Vista

Follow the directions to make a bootable ISO.

Then you are all set. I certainly would recommend KEEPING the disk for later Vista installs.

The windows 7 ISO is also available for free from digital river.

These are 100% legit. I have downloaded, installed , and activated both windows 7 and vista from digital river using the COA on a CPU http://store.digitalriver.com/store/...y_statement_en Digital River hosts microsoft's web store. https://store.digitalriver.com/store...=1388721743711 Notice at the bottom, "this site is hosted by digital river". (just wanted you to feel good about downloading windows)

You don't need to worry about what version of Vista you have (home, business, ect..). All the versions are in the same ISO. When you enter the COA off the box it installs the correct version.

This is another great way to get-r-dun. The biggest reasons I try and salvage an already existing OS, rather than start from scratch, is the drivers and updates. Some machines can be a real PIA, and become very time consuming, trying to get all the correct drivers and OS updates. but again, there is more than one way to skin a puter.
