I wanted to show a breakdown of a Nortel Application Module (Voice Mail/Auto Attendant) that I picked up last week.
Metal case surrounded by a lot of plastic.
2 screws to remove the cover
8 more screws and you're done. So I end up with some wire, ribbon cables, 1 hard drive, 1 floppy drive and 1 metal case and cover that will be filled with smaller
scrap metal.
The power supply is left inside.
Cards inside top to bottom
Back plane
Gold finger board where the software cards mount
Gold finger mother board with ceramic processor and RAM
Close up of the processor. I've seen some older ones that had 486 processors.
