There's been a lot of discussion on the forum about current prices and modern technology, especially how everything in electronics is getting smaller.
I've seen this over the last few years as I install new phone systems. The board below is a good example.
It is a 16 port analog station card. It's 17"x14" and weighs 1.7 pounds. A 10 year old 8 port analog station card weighs almost twice that because the components are so much bigger.
This card can also be ordered equipped with 30 ports. On the right side of the board you'll notice that most of it has no components at all. This is where the other 14 ports would be in the 30 port model.
Most of the stuff I get is 10-25 years old and there's still a lot of it out there. You just have to know where to look.
I need to send these pics to my buyer and see how they would be graded.
