I'm going to take some pics and send to some buyers here and another that's close to me and see what they say.

I picked up 10 more boxes of the same phones today and they want me to come back tomorrow and get more.

A few odds and ends I was able to pick up this week. I stopped by the shop and one guy had a box with 5 laptops, 4 phones, about 10 circuit boards, 1 PC and another box with maybe 10 pounds of #2 insulated copper wire.

I also finished up an install today and the customer gave me their old phone system. It is a Lucent Legend system with 35 phones and 2 battery backups.

The best thing is that it was all free.

I did hear back about the pricing on the center board and the other two also. He said they would be mid grade high.

I found 2 more phones I've never scrapped before.

The first and second pics are a Lucent MLX-28 D and the boards from inside. These have got to be the easiest phones I've ever scrapped. 5 flathead screws and you're done.

The 3rd pic shows the main board from 2 different MXL-28D's. Same style phone except one is newer and has a different size board.

Pics 4 and 5 are an AT&T MLX-20L. It has the same main board as the MXL-28D but the display board is much larger. Lots of chips on one side and gold plating on the other.

I found this while boxing up some boards and thought it interesting. I can't remember exactly what it came out of but it looks like a telephone console board.

    Hey Mike

I recently sent some pics of similar boards to a guy and he said they would be mid grade high which surprised me. The last time I sold any boards was November last year and I got $2.30 for mid grade high.

    Cisco SPA504G IP Phones

It's been about a month or more since I received these phones. I would have taken them apart sooner but they require a Torx T-10 security bit. I've been putting off spending 10 dollars to order one that will fit and I'm glad I did because I read a small flat head will work also. They were right and now I can work on these Cisco phones and get them out of my way.

They have some nice looking boards with lots of gold plating on the contacts.

The 2nd pic is a 2.5mm flat head in a T-10 security screw.

Here's my latest setup, all rescued from being thrown in the dumpster. A HP EliteDesk with a core i5, 22" monitor that was suppose to be bad but isn't, a HP LaserJet P1102w printer and a lighted keyboard and mouse.

There was nothing wrong with any of it. They had just bought new and didn't want the old and they were going to throw it all away.

    I'll have to admit, I have a few OCD's.

    I can't stand a cluttered work area.

The number of business phones I haven't scrapped are becoming less and less. I found this the other day and wanted to share.

That's why we keep saying read the old threads because you don't know what you don't know until you know it.

Thanks ,as always, to jimicrk for sharing. I've taken apart a couple hundred phones over the years but no way do I have the experience you have. I say I took them apart but once my wife learned how she got real good at it and I was happy she did. So she actually has most of the experience in our house. 73, Mike
