Thanks for the kind words, Mike. My wife used to help me a lot, especially with the phones. She even bought herself 2 cordless drills.
In July 2016 she had 2 back surgeries and another one on her neck 3 months ago so she's not able to help with the scrapping now.
Hopefully she will be back at it soon.
I started scraping to give me something to do that would help me with my recovery. I had started on dialysis and needed something to do that would give me a little exercise and a purpose to get up out of my chair. Its still doing that 5 1/2 years after my kidney transplant.
Best wishes to you and your wife. Mike

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
NEC MH250 wireless phone
This phone works with the old NEC 2400 PBX and uses the customers wireless network to communicate.
They have nice cell phone grade boards but you'll need a Y shaped security bit to get them apart.
nice stuff
Nortel CallPilot Voicemail
I was telling my wife how some people buy brass animals and other brass objects cheap at yard sales.
It's not ewaste but she brought me home 2 elephants today.
I like 'em. May they bring you god fortune!
Copper, brass, and Leather. 3 of my favorite things.
Someone gave me a TRIPP-LITE Model:SMART1500RMXL2UA and a 6U data cabinet with cooling fans. They said I could dispose of it or keep it. I think I'll keep both.
One of my contacts is moving to a new office so they had some things for me to haul off. I got 10 PC's, 4 big servers, 2 laptops, 4 phone systems with 4 boxes of phones and 4 battery backups.
There's also data switches, hard drives and 10 other boxes I need to go through.
Nice one!
Atlas IIE Key System
Panasonic KX-T7720
I found another phone I'd never seen before. Six screws and you're done.
I've been doing a little trading with my neighbor again. I gave him a Dell server a few weeks ago and he gave me a nice box full of memory and processors with a lot more on the way.
Nice. Mike
I didn't realize how long it's been since I've posted. I packed up all of my scrap last November and sold it to pay for Christmas gifts for my wife and 3 kids and have been hibernating since.
I haven't been scrapping much since because I needed a break from it. Now it's time now to get off my arse and back to calling my contacts, making pickups and processing all of it.
I just got through boxing up some Engenius phones a co-worker saves for me at the warehouse. I posted a pic of these last year and ended up with about 400 pounds that would have been thrown in the dumpster if I hadn't gotten him to save them for me.
Below is my first box of 2018 of these phones. The box weighs 50 pounds. I remove the belt clips and batteries and that's it. At $4.00 a pound, that's not bad for less than 1 hour of work.

I stopped by the warehouse earlier this week and they had more phones for me to pick up. I was able to fill another box.
I had 3 pickups last week and came home with mostly monitors and printers. There were about 19 computers, a few boxes of cable and other small items. I still have 10 computers and 10 printers in my other vehicle (pic not included) that I need to get unloaded today.
Nice score.....Some of those printers sell if tested.......The computers themselves are getting a little old but the monitors if working can be re-used..........I found a guy here locally who was building cheap video game cabinets......Those 19" square monitors fit the template sold on Ebay
