Some nice racks.
Lots of backplanes, wire & tin.
A helper dropped one on my foot. They are HEAVY!!

If you don't scrap them, they make a nice addition to the house.
That's taking reuse to a whole nother' level.
Nice score, did you dock the helper pay for injuring the boss?

"Nice" Metal & one of my favorites is there too, COPPER!
Those pins on the back planes are juicy!!!!

Clean up aisle 3...BC is drooling again!
Sirscrapalot - Zigging and zagging away.
I didn't dock the offending helper.. I just gave him another banana & sent him back to work!
OK, that first picture had me confused. I couldn't figure out why there was a roof on those computer racks... Guess I need more coffee.
What does one of those things weigh, anyway? I hope your foot survived. I guess all that snow helped keep down the swelling and bruising.
Nice! What model rackmounts are these?
Nice. I saw a room with complete set up online and wondered if it's doable. No further questions. Smh @why not me? X , X
Keep the backplanes give the smorgas horge.....boards a pa teet . OLEY !
They weigh several hundred pounds each, stripped of the plug in boards.
nice score, spin.
need a couple workers I can pay with naners. if ya have any extras climbin roun, sendum dis way
On Thursday, I made a mistake. (Besides having my foot where a helper could drop a rack on it).
My shop is in the basement of an office building: the racks were too big to bring in.
My scrapping "Buddy" convinced me to leave them at his place: They would be broken down by Monday.
So, on Friday I'm visiting Mario (eWasted) in Ohio when he calls and starts the "Landlord complained/They are too hard to break down/ Yaddayaddayadda"
...Sigh........
Today I rented a garage for a month and contacted a moving company to pick them up & move them to the garage. (They weigh about 10,000 lbs in total)
I will break them down myself.
That is the same reason I let all three of my employees go: Too many excuses, not enough work (& I paid them quite well)
On Monday, I take the controls again and the world will once again be at my feets! (all three of them)
The Moral: ALWAYS pay attention to your instincts. (Not the little voices in your head...)
blacksteel: there are really heavy: you need a way to move them & a place to keep them
Was that you behind me ? Anyway i would have moved them myself had i known. I'd've stayed a few extra days. Im fast and safe. Im 3 to 4 men in one body i get it done with little fuss. I work hard enough for the 50/50 split. Just email or p m me if you need real muscle or help. No problem.
ya know, spin, them little voices are like a church committee meeting. talk a lot and nutin happens!
tend to work alone and at my own pace. get kids to help me when really needed. few folks on here, I wouldn't mind sharing some work, with just to spend time together. at that point in life where if it is to much for me, it is to much for me! pretty simple, but hard to say no at times. saying no is something, after raising 7 kids, should come natural! HA
Id rather pay a smart a~~
That carry a weak or dumb a++
@move it along fellows.
We don't have all day !
In my short carrer since 2006 i have had very few jobs i turned down or couldn't do. Im a free public sevice so as long as i show up i know God has my back. Even when in over my head .... i think for a few weeks to figure it out. I keep the faith and put in the good works. To partner can mean working smarter. Why ? Its all scrap at days end pockets full and girls are happy.
