Just a pic of power supplies saved up for a year. I store up in summer and fall and tear everything down when laid off from other job in winter. Before everyone starts yelling at me that I should tear them down, I don't have the time and they are going to a buyer on SMF so he can make something off of them.

reminds me of when I first got started on computers and did not have a buyer yet and I tossed them in a pile in the back of the garage and soon enough it was 5ft high and 10ft long tripping all over it at times and had to do something with it because buyers I did find were to far away to be worth while. so I spent 3 weeks in November before turkey time and tore them down. found I could do about 1min in a few simple steps cut wires, open up and tear out board toss into Gaylord steel into pile and boom.
now I do that for local buyers broke down 0.20lb for boards intact 0.06lb for tin and prices dropped a lot but 0.65lb for dirty wire i do have a electric stripper but spending the extra time cutting ends its easier to just toss in. get more from buyers a bit away but they will pick up for free in gaylords so saves me gas

Depending on prices, you actually make more money leaving the wires on. I make .10-.15 per PS more with the wire on. Then you have to take in account cutting the wire, storing the wire, handling the wire..ETC

Nice pile-o-power supplies ! I have the same problem here. I have a huge pile of them and I am trying to figure out how I can make the most of it. There is a scrap yard about 1.5 hours from me that will pay 20 cents a pound with the wires removed.
That may be the way I go. Would love to send them to Ewasted but the shipping would kill anything I would have made. I may make a trip of it. I have to figure in the gas and time but if I put some more valuable items in the load It may be worth it.
