I found about half a 1000ft roll of Cat 5 Ethernet cable. As far as I understand, it's
Space Shuttle
CAT5e
350MHz
24AWG
4 Twisted Pairs
Solid conductors
How can I find out whether it's PVC/Riser grade or Plenum grade cable?
thanks much

I would think they'd both be worth the same.
There's nothing more fun and more effective than hitting something repeatedly with a sledgehammer
Oh. Can't help you then
Sorry did not mean to imply.
I love freecycle. I got a washer and dryer from there a couple of weeks ago. Dyer works, washer doesn't
Yes, the place is great. It's amazing what people are willing to part with for free.
I recently collected two "antique computer pieces": an Apple IIc and a Commodore 64. Both apparently in working order and both with software and some peripherals. So at least I can take them apart as I do other computers, but that's probably not the best solution. A better one is to tell my kids that this is what they get instead of Xbox 360! :-)
Your kids might flip out!! But I wonder if you could get a premium price for them, since they are older. There are some Org and clubs that collect some older PC's. These two are not rare so there might not be a huge market for them but they may be worth more then scrap price.
I grew up on the Commador 64. So many fond memories...
