Cool Can't wait to open it up.

Got a call to come do a pick-up at a company, the guy said they had 3 pallets of stuff to get rid of.
There is a pic of the 56 computers. There was also 30 network switches, a boatload of keyboards, and a ton of misc wires. Then I saw this beauty.
It says Pentium pro processors. Let's hope no one took them out.

That would be so cool to open up and see.

Before I took that apart it may be worth plugging in to see if it is working. I bet you could get better than scrap if you had a working board with 4 pro's on it.

I was wondering the same thing. I guess it doesn't hurt to try it. There was also a few disks that came with it. Will have to check it all out. Was excited to see it and scrap metal forum is the only place to share it on. Family and most friends don't get it.

The cost to ship that beast. A Pentium Pro is not worth anything but scrap really. I see one listed for $100 on ebay right now. But I doubt there are any completed auctions. The cost of shipping would cost more than the server itself.

    Good find either way!
