    Goodwill Scrapping?

I came across this on Ebay. Note that it's from Goodwill (though not my area).

How not to do a photo for ebay should be the headline on that one. Mike

Ya'll must be tempting me with such a post. Goodwill gets me ranting!

I'll be good mods, I promise.

......It's very hard for the record, to invoke my filter.

Sirscrapalot - You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently, my cycloptic colleague informs me that that can't be done. Can you remind me what I pay you people for? Honestly, throw me a bone here. What do we have? - Dr.Evil

That Goodwill is only 8 miles from me but will not let me do a local pick up. With small socket boards at $1.90 it's not worth it to me having to pay for shipping. They also have a big complex, not a store, near me that I have noticed silver plated lots listed on eBay and there auction site. shopgoodwill.com - Welcome Also no local pick up so with shipping not worth it.

My son has found some good resale items at Goodwill.
2 serving trays for $2 each that he sold for $99 each + shipping. Classic 1940s Orange Crush Serving Tray
A small sterling bowl for $10 he sold for $140.

    Goodwill Scrapping?

This one just frustrated/confused me. I thought Goodwill was sending their stuff to Dell, and Dell recycled it. Maybe that is a decision each region makes? Either way here, it looks like this region is taking the approach of how to make the most money with this, rather than how to handle responsibly.

Never did like Goodwill, and I like them less now. I'll keep taking them my crts as long as they take them though.

I give them nothing. Rude as all hell down here on the sandbar.

Ok, that's all I'm saying I feel a rant coming on.

Good luck with your dealings with them!

Nope, Ashveille is on the west side of the state, near the Tenn. border.

If it was me they'd never print what I have to say.

Stop trying to bait me! I'm trying to be good.

Seriously tho it's not. lol. It'd say OuterBanks, or Kill Devil Hills. I know the day I was in there an treated rudely an insulted I felt the stuff was over priced junk to. Selling a crt tv for 50 bucks that's 10 years old..There's a reason they don't do a lot of business down here. The other thrift stores price their stuff like it;s used. Which makes sense. I mean for another 50 I could go buy a brand new flat screen from Wal-mart. Heh.

Good luck with your dealings with them people, may you not be insulted an treated rudely. All it takes is one bad experience to sour someone on a company. I;m sure their other stores are run much better, but I have nothing nice to say in regards to my experiences with GW. I hope others have better experiences then me.

    Such is life.

Sirscrapalot - So sour on GW he makes a lemon look sweet.

But the dumb butt was just inhaling someone else's air, not helium, what a cracker head. I wonder how much of someone's spit he took in.
