i have been scrapping out late eights to mid ninety cpu, servers, and data collection boxes for the past six months pretty steady ( landed a source that has storage lockers full of them from an IT business that started in 1984). i know the mmlc's had to have some value when i started so I have been collecting them since the beginning. just curious what are they worth per lb? last time i weighed the container it was just shy of 12 lbs. also should i sell them or refine myself. i am pretty good with my gold refining from the never ending ceramic cpu's i usually get 24k after two cycles. I use nitric acid method. i guess my question is , is it worth it to refine myself like the gold is. ( usually double or more than if i sold ceramic cpus for scrap) any advice would be greatly appreciated!
